Dream Scream - Adam

It was a dark and lonely night, especially for Adam. He laid as still as possible in the middle of the bed just thinking about Her. The most beautiful and perfect girl he could possibly imagine, and for a moment he had Her.
*he drifts off to sleep and Dreams*
He remembers the day he laid eyes on Her at a friend's party. She walked in as if she was floating on air. Her friends closely followed Her through the entrance, but to Adam they simply blended into the background. He only focused on the vision of the gorgeous One in the middle. She of course attracted the attention of guys and girls everywhere, they all wanted to know Her. She finally met Adam's eyes and for a moment the whole party faded out of existence.
*moves to the next Dream*
He remembers a picnic in the park. Watching Her smile at every corny joke he made, both knowing how terrible it was but not caring. Her laugh was soft and comforting, like hearing that perfect song at the end of the day. Just the thought of being in Her company was more than he could stand. Then he said I love you.
*flashes of images go by in his Dreams*
That radiant smile of Hers and how Her hair fell on her shoulders. She was the picture of perfection and love. He told Her, "I love you, forever and always! This is true and nothing can waiver it."
*moves to the next Dream*
With a little black box in his hand, he runs up the stairs to Her apartment. Ready for The Question. He opens the door only to find that someone beat him there. He walks into the bedroom to find his love being the love of someone else. She quickly retrieves Her hands from around the other guy's body and retracts Her lips from his. "Wait!" She calls as Adam quickly retreats the room and runs back downstairs into the sunlit street.
*Adam wakes up*
Adam sitting up right couldn't believe She could be worthy of doing something so cruel to someone she loved. But was it love that kept them together? He keeps thinking that. Every good thing that happened to him was because She was in his life and that everything from then on would come easy. The absolute love of his life had left him and She never said 'I love you' back.
*remembering the discussion on the phone*
"I'm sorry Adam!" strain coming from the voice on the other side. "I can't believe you did that to me. And to think I wanted you as my wife." She pleads, "Please can we talk about this in person. I have something I want to say and it can't be done on the phone..."
*the next day*
He meets Her on the steps of her apartment. "I never meant for any of this to happen or to hurt you the way I did. It was a mistake and it will never happen again." (Adam not entirely convinced) "Adam I love you! I do and I feel like I betrayed your trust. Never again will I do that. Please forgive me!" (no response) Through tears and heartache but attempting a smile, "I found that box. Please tell me there's something you still want to ask me?" "Yeah... there is. Can I have my ring back." Adam turns to leave Her apartment steps for the last time. She was left there crying.
*Adam now fully awake walks to the window overlooking the city*
"I can't leave Her. I love Her too much." He then notices the answering machine flashing...there was only one message. "Adam? I know its impossible to forgive me, but can you some day? I need you! I don't know what else to do. Adam, I lov...(click) The next move was decided. He quickly picked up his keys and shoes and fled his apartment. Running and running, nearly all across town to Her apartment. He ascended her steps, much like he did that fateful day. He approached the large brass handle and opened the apartment door. His eyes stared out into the destroyed living room to see Her laying on the sofa, a knife on the end table, and two dark red slashes across Her perfect delicate wrists. Looking as innocent and beautiful as She did before.
*he woke up*

New Concept

I'm going to try and write short stories that go with music...awkward concept I know, but I've been listening to a lot of different kinds of music and it got me thinking of stories that would be perfect for them. The object of this is to get the feel of the story through music. Trying to listen to the music and reading the story at the same time. The music helps score the story like a movie. Which brings me to this. My first 'Music Story' will be to the song Dream Scream, originally by Daniel Johnston, but I'll use the Death Cab for Cutie cover. Hope you enjoy it!

Zombie Dream

Content is exactly what the title says. I had an epic zombie dream, which of course stirred up my imagination. Last night or early this morning I watched George A. Romero's Return of the Living Dead fully for the first time. I always end up watching the middle or parts of the end, but I never seen the entire movie. It was brilliant I have to say, but I have some problems with the zombies and their origins. For instance how is that they are so unbelievably smart and fast, I mean they are living dead. And what was the origins of the original zombie if all the other zombies were infected by a military owned biohazard chemical...anyway back to the point

My dream had me set in my hometown and I walk outside to my car and there's all kinds of hungry zombies everywhere running towards me. Where my family was, I have no idea, but they weren't in the house. Then I end up in town, without a car but with a bat. I sneak around corners trying to get closer to the police station for help. There's zombies left and right coming up to me, *wack* goes the bat meeting the head of the zombie. I see a huge RV and make a mad dash for it, mind you this is a dream and I can actually run without looking totally ridiculous. I'm about half a block from it and then I see this gorgeous guy(tall, great brown hair, fantastic smile and even more fantastic brown eyes; remind you of someone) who is about to have his face eaten off my a blonde bimbo zombie in a mini skirt. I run up to him and yell, 'Come on! Leave her! She's not herself.' He narrowly misses a bite to the head and then we both manage to climb on top of the RV and...that's it, I woke up. It was so much cooler than I described it. Hopefully I'll remember it later or have it again.

The Wombats

God I would do anything to go see a Wombats concert. They are one of the more amazing bands out today. A Guide to Love, Loss, & Desperation is quickly becoming one of my favourite albums of all time.

More Self Pity Bullshit

I'm sick and tired of people calling me the good girl who knows everything. Somehow that shouldn't be a bad thing, but it is quite annoying when that's all everyone assumes that i am. I know i'm not smart, i just a decent memory and work ethic. This all combines to form the definition of a person being smart. I don't get it.
I want to go into law on my own reasoning, but my dad helped lead me towards law. I've prepared to choose a career in law, which was my dad's dream for me apparently. This stuff is all becoming a reality and all of a sudden he is now taking a vast interest in what i'm actually interested. He asked me what i really wanted to do. I told him music, but to be honest I have no idea really on what i want to do.
The only thing i do that makes me happy and i can spend hours doing, with the equipment working correctly, is video editing and finding music. Sounds like a possible career, but honestly i'm not very good and that's an extremely competitve market. I like writing stories too, but they're not very good and i can never finish a whole story. I have a million ideas in my head, some of which are actually good, but when i go to record them they vanish.
Well it's a quarter after one in the morning and i've got to go to work in the morning. So i've got to go to bed and update tomorrow.

Wake Me Up When September Ends

Well Melinda, if you're reading this, you know i'm trying to get into TU. Well the advisor there told me that they didn't start processing applications for the spring until Sept. and everyone around me is freaking out. I've told my parents and a select few teachers that september or after september would be the time i would hear anything, but they keep bloody asking me. I'm nervous enough, but with everyone around me constantly wanting updates, it's just too much. I've got to vent to blogger.com and you of course.

*****So how have you been? Honestly*****

I also got another twitter. I know i'm a complete failure at following my own rules, but i couldn't help it.

Talk to you later.

1:45am

It's damn near 2 o'clock in the morning when i typed this.

I don't know what happened to me, but i could not stay awake this afternoon and now i'm paying for it. I'm currently contemplating about working on my speech which happens to be due monday, but i can't find the inspiration or energy to work on it. Ironically I have all the time in the world to muck about on the interweb and right meaningless blogs.

Good New: my nephews are staying at my house this weekend. Well one is already here, Ean, the youngest one. He was sitting in my dad's chair when i walked into the door this afternoon and took me completely by surprise. I haven't seen him in two months, because of the bitch that lives near the highway. The older ones should be here this evening. They're off school shopping.

I honestly can't believe how fast time is flying. my nephews are already heading back to school and my trimester is almost ended. pretty soon i'll be graduating from osuit and then off to Tulsa, hopefully.

oh god please let me get in. i really don't have a back-up school if i don't get in. I suppose i could try OU or OSU-Tulsa, but seriously they just don't compare to the amazingness that is the university of Tulsa. yes i know i'm rambling on about all kinds of crap that doesn't make sense, but give me a break.

Why? well because...well i don't have an answer to that right now, but when i do you'll be the first to hear about it.

I just have two weeks left of this trimester and i am so glad. I can't wait to be getting out of chemistry II. I will be totally slammed with history classes next trimester, but i'm actually kind of ready for 'em.

I have so many ideas and plans in my head right now. I have ideas for doctor who fan videos and fan fiction stories. I also want to start making vlogs and keeping up with this blog. maybe i can use this as a stepping stone to making vlogs. I wish Windows Movie Maker wasn't so gay, i need to finish about five videos. Which reminds me, I can't believe how many subscribers and friends i have. That one video i posted has over a thousand views and its only been up for a couple of months.

Well i think i might tackle that speech now. Later interwebing ether.

What To Do?

Well I was going to meet up with a guy that my friend told me about, but the situation has become a little tricky.

My friend and I had just got out of our Humanities class and we did our usual post test discussion. Well we talked about that then we talked about the guy she is trying to set me up with. Then we started talking in very specific detail about her boyfriend. Well she had her birthday last week and hung out with this guy the whole night. They had been friends for a while, but nothing more until after her birthday when he asked her to be his girlfriend. She's about 6 years his senior and she has two kids and she thought that this seemed kind of odd that all of a sudden he wants a relationship, but she didn't refuse.

A week later, she was telling me how wonderful her boyfriend is and how his close friend would be a good guy for me to hang out with.

The Next Day:
After our post test discussion she started telling me all about how he makes her feel unimportant and uncomfortable around him with her children. She goes on to describe how immature he acts and that he really isn't ready for a serious relationship. After an hour of talking bad about said boyfriend she gets a text from after a whole day of not communicating. Needless to say she was a bit miffed, but not nearly as much as when she heard that her boyfriend dissed her for plants...not even the good plants either. He told her, through text, that he couldn't hang out with her because he was busy watering his dad's plants. We took that statement in and had a very long rant and laugh about that one. However my friend knew there on that this relationship wasn't going to work. They text for a little while longer and then she finally called him. They talked for about half an hour and ended it. Needless to say my friend was relieved after that call.

I feel bad for her, but being the selfish git that I am I can't help wondering what is going to happen to me and this guy I'm suppose to see. I mean its going to be pretty awkward trying to hook up with my friend's ex's best friend, especially when I haven't even met him yet. I mean what is a girl to do.

Something Weird This Way Comes

Yeah so I was talking to a friend the other day and she was telling me all about her newly found boyfriend. She was telling me all the usual; where they met, when they started going out, what he's like, etc. Somehow throughout all of this, we started talking about my love life or lack there off. She then mentioned some of her BF's friends and how they would be perfect for me. And through much deliberation somehow and someway she is sorta setting me up on a semi-blind date. I'm so bloody nervous and anxious all at the same bloody time.

On a weird note: I seen a pic of him and he kind of reminds me of Mikey Tutle from American Choppers, Mikey was always my favourite.

Yes i'm slowly getting back to normal. I've deleted my twitter page and quit using my dailybooth account. I would really like to get rid of my facebook and myspace, but there are important peoples on these sites that I don't want to lose contact with.

Doctor Who on the Brain

I'm trying to stick to blogging by doing the dream log, but now i can't remember any of them. However I've been having all sorts of ideas for an epic companion for the Doctor. I might just put them up here along with my other amazingly boring stories.

Dream Log 2

Well this one was an actual dream and a pretty weird, funny and slightly erotic one at that.

Well Melinda you know of my new obsession with James Spader and that movie Secretary, well i had a dream that sorta went along the same lines as that movie. All except i wasn't into the s&m thing, but he definitely was. I have realized something, I have no problems with people and their weird and freaky ways of getting off, but if one person is in to pain and being tied up and the other person isn't then it can kinda be misconstrued as some sorta criminal offense and just plain scary. Well that's the way my dream went. We didn't really do anything like freaky except there was some staring in places he shouldn't be staring and some hitting where there shouldn't be, but that was pretty much it.

Ok from what i can remember it went down like this: I applied for a job as Mr. Grey's secretary. He hired me cuz of my wicked secretorial skills. He called me into his office and asked me to take down some notes and it got really weird way too fast. I can't remember entirely what was said, but i remember him looking down my shirt when I bent over to pick up my pen. I don't know it was just the way he looked at me that something didn't seem right, kinda like Brendon Block from Secret Smile. Then he tried to um...well he tried to *alternate word for hit* me in an area that comes in contact with a chair most of the time. Then i can remember me running into the parking lot hiding behind cars, trying hard not to be seen by him. Then somehow we ended up in the same department store where apparently he worked as a cashier. I'm guessing he got sued and was forced to give up on his firm. We talked to each other as though nothing happened, then I woke up. It was really weird, but then again I did watch the trailer for the secretary just before I went to bed, that may have had something to do with it. I watch way too much tv and am on the internet way too much.

Dream Log 1

I'm going to try and record all my weird daydreams on my blog. Well I can't remember if this was an actual dream or part of a daydream, either way it didn't happen in reality.

I was sitting in my Western Civilization class sitting next to, oh I need to come up with a nick name for him, but I don't have anyone reading this except Melinda so i'll go ahead and say. Me and Josh were sitting together and all of a sudden Luke came through the door. He came up to the teacher and was apologizing for not being there the class period before and then he saw me. He didn't really know what to do other than sit in the vacant seat in front of me, he kept looking back and grinning. I didn't know what to do or say except hello. Then my dream kinda goes a couple of weeks into the future and me and Luke are always seen constantly talking, which makes Josh just a wee bit jealous. Then we start carpooling together. Then I mention to Luke that I have to participate in a student life activity and he agrees to go to movie night with me. Of course we just go as friends, nothing happens. In my own bloody head and nothing happens, i have moved on. Well anyway as we were leaving the theater someone calls his name. We turn around and its his ex Shaundel. She kinda wonders what the hell we are doing together if we were only good friends. I take myself out of the equation and sit and wait quietly in the car for Luke. Then I wake up. However the weird thing is when I went to my west civ class today the teacher handed out terms to look up and the first term that i saw was the word 'pharoah'.

Death and the Aftermath - part 1

Well my grandfather died Thursday morning. He was pretty sick with all sorts of illnesses: bone cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, pneumonia, and some of his organs were starting to fail. From what my brother told me, he suffered a heart attack that morning and died around 1:00 that day. He has suffered from cancer for a couple of years. Constantly in and out of hospitals and doctor's offices, never really finding any sort of comfort or peace.

My grandfather was a hard-working man who stood for family and faith in god. He was a very quite and humble man, but when wrestling came on you couldn't settle him down. He battled a lot of demons in his younger days, but overcame them when he gave up alcohol to become a deacon at Sand Creek Baptist Church. He served the Lord and that old church for decades. Some of my earliest memories of my Papa are of him mowing the churchyard on his favorite vehicle, a bright red tractor. I can remember him picking me up for Sunday school and asking me if I've ate breakfast yet. Without forgetting he would always buy me a sausage and biscuit from this old gas station that was on the way to church. He would ask me and my grandmother to sing Jesus Loves Me all the way to the churchyard. I can remember him ringing the huge bell that stood alongside the church house. Him and this old cane he used in church. I also remember some of the epic arguments in Creek he and my grandma would have. Nothing major, just maybe some little detail he didn't hear and my grandma would constantly repeat herself until she gave. Sometime I think he did it just to aggravate her, but he never said. He loved to grow gardens in his backyard. I would sometimes help him, only when he asked. I had a very thorough respect for my Papa because he was a very tall and strong man, and even in his older days not many would tangle with him. He was quite the fighter in his younger days and I suppose his reputation would precede him.

I loved my Papa...I loved him very much and I think it will take some time for it to sink in that I won't see him anymore. I know he suffered a lot with his illnesses and all, and in some ways I'm glad for his passing because now he won't have to suffer anymore. Yes there's a lot of regrets on my part: wishing I would have spent more time with him, got to know him better, ask him so many questions, etc. But out of all this, he left me one great and true legacy...people can change for the better and thus be better people. Faith and Family is what he lived for and on, so maybe one day I can follow in my Papa's example and become a better person.

Most Amazing Commercial Dealing W/Eyebrows

Long Time No Post

Yea its been a while since i've posted anything on this bloody thing. I haven't really had much too say cuz nothing has really happened in my boring and pathetic little life.

I slowing think i'm going insane and don't know if i'll be able to be truly happy with my family again. It seems that its been ages since we've had a BBQ or day of fishing and golf. We used to do that sort of thing all the time until the dark cloud of the casino reared its ugly head. I absolutely hate that place, nothing good could possibly come from those places. I've seen perfectly able people go into a casino and come up out a blubbering idiot. It's takin my parents money hundreds of times, which makes you wonder just how much money they really have cuz at home we are barely making ends meet.

As for the family, its slowly falling apart at the seams. We all snipe at each other at the drop of a hat and we have started picking sides against one another. Not all the time, but when the topic of my brother's future comes up then all hell breaks loose.

I wonder if this is why i'm so socially messed up and how come i try so bloody hard at school just to fail utterly. Maybe this is why i have gained so much weight, getting headaches, worrying, stressing out, and suffering little anxiety attacks for no reason at all. Or maybe i am just crazy. Some days i think that this whole working for a better future thing isn't worth it.
