Okay the title was a bit dramatic, but what can you expect from me.
Well there's this guy...god i sound cliche...anyway there's this guy in my health class that i've developed a crush on and i would really like the opportunity to go out with him before the semester is over. We talk all the time in class, but i don't know if he likes me in that way.
I always seem to be the "buddy type"...the girl-friend not the girlfriend...its been my persona since ever but anyway...
He's a really great guy and there's a good chance i won't see him again after the semester. So my plan is to ask him out on a date friday after class.
I'm sorta the shy type and don't know if i can do this. I haven't actually gone on a date and the only boy that would be considered a boyfriend to me was my junior high bf "the ride" So that just signifies how utterly pathetic i and my life is.
I'm 18 years old: never had a proper boyfriend, never been on a date, and never been kissed.
This all sounds like the basis to a really bad chick flick except its real and its happening to me! UGH!

Why Does He Have To Leave?
October 29th, 2008 the fabulous David Tennant announced to the world that he will be retiring the part of the Doctor on the hit show Doctor Who. If you have no idea what i'm talking about then fuck off, but if you do then continue reading. Yes we will no longer be seeing the 10th Doctor in his pinstripe suit and converse wielding his sonic screwdriver about whilst wearing the brainy specs.
David Tennant made this announcement as part of his acceptance speech at the National Television Awards. He stated that after the '09 specials, he will no longer play the Doctor. This has come to most as a shock and disappointment. I for one knew that his days were numbered as the Doctor, but I never expected that '09 would be his last.
The very first episode I ever saw of Doctor Who was the last 20 minutes or so of the Satan Pit episode. I was flipping through the channels and i suddenly landed on the SciFi channel. It was there that I caught the bit where he was talking to the Devil and was trying to figure out who the devil was and what he believed in. I thought that was the most amazing thing i ever saw, so i tried to remember to watch every week, but that plan never followed through. I would catch the little marathons SciFi would have, (back then they had Doctor Who marathons on Saturday mornings), but it would be the 9th Doctor. So the 9th Doctor was my first official Doctor, but the one i loved most and saw for the very first time was the 10th.
When I first heard the news about David's departure, i was extremely sad and quite nearly to tears. But it has to be said, he had a great run and it was all a matter of time before he did leave. However i really wish he would have done at least one more season.
Not only is the good doctor leaving us, but Russell T. Davies (who is responsible for bringing Doctor Who back), Julie Gardener (one of the original producers) and as i heard it Murray Gold (the man responsible for recreating the theme tune and composes all the music heard on Doctor Who). Don't know if that last one is true or not, so if someone would like to educate me, please do. It seems like its going to be an all new show as of 2010.
All i can say is good luck to David Tennant in all the new projects he will be doing! I will definitely stay tuned to his work as well as the new Doctor, even if my favourite one is getting replaced.

OMFG What Am I Going To Do!!!!!!!!
My god it has been hell around my house. Let me just list some of the things that have upsetted the balance of the house.
-my brother is getting a divorce
-he has kids with the bitch he's divorcing
-my brother lives at home w/me & my parents
-the kids are 2, 5, & 7 (i think)
-money is in short supply
-my dad hates kids (why he had me and my brother, i'll never know)
-the ex is dating someone extremely older than her
-the old man moved into the house w/her AND the kids
-brother becomes frustrated and downright pissed off that some stranger is around his kids(They are still married)
-she met this guy on the internet*
-my dad gets frustrated at my brother and wants him to leave the house
-my poor mom and i are stuck in the middle of things
-for some odd reason i'm the only one my brother is talking too
-i have my own freakin' problems(i'll definitely dedicate a blog just for that)
-i'm being taught how to fight and defend myself
-feels like war is about to break out amongst my family and the bitch's family
-war is also about to break out amongst the family itself
And that's just the few problems that come to mind about the whole situation. Oh it's been absolutely chipper here at my house. This is the longest i've been calm at home in a while(this very moment). The reason for this, no one is home.

Ode To The Laptop
Hello again, it's me. (What a cheesy line.) Well among all of the crazy family stuff that's been going on, I got my laptop fixed. Yes the one problem i've been complaining about for damn near a month is finally fixed. Yeah! It has been some kind of hassle trying to get it up and running so i can make my feeble attempts at making youtube videos. Yes i know extremely lame right, but what can i say i'm lame.
The laptop was a gift from my cousins for graduation. Its primary purpose was to help me in the pursuit of a college education. However i have plans to do the exact opposite. It's not to say i'm not going to use it for college, i'll just be doing other things as well.

Laptop Problems
Yes i have laptop problems. Not much i can do about it right now other than send it in for repair. The guy who fixed my pc was good, but my pc is wicked slow. Thus i find myself in this predicament (have no idea if that's spelled right). Should i try and fix it myself or send it in to this guy? I could fix it with software you buy at a store, but will it erase everything on my notebook? Ugh, decisions decisions.

Changes In A Family
Not sure where to start with this one...for reasons of privacy i'm not going to mention who exactly i'm talking about, but note that they are people who are close to me.
This couple have had problems for a while and its just now got to the point where neither of them can stand each other. Well they have three children together and they're fighting like they hate each other.
How can two people who've created three perfect babies together possibly fight this much?
It's true that the father of the family had drinking and temper problems, but he was doing better.
It's also true that the mother of the family was controlling and had a friend that kept her away from her husband , but she was always there for her kids.
They both just felt they had to get away from each other and now the kids are stuck in the middle of the bickering and name calling. I feel so bad for this family and i want to help them, but it's not my place to interfere with others' personal affairs.
Now they are calling it quits. She spoke with a lawyer.
I know they still love each other, but i don't think they can be with each other anymore. I just hope they work something out with each other, for their kids' sake.
As much as i would love to take sides in the argument, it's just really hard to tell when you talk to them individually. She would tell her side of the story and then he would tell his side of the story. Both of which were completely differents, almost everytime. It's enough to give you a headache because you don't know which one to believe. I just want to help them resolve their problems so bad, so everything can go back to the way things were.
All i can do right now is hope and pray.

I'm Taken Vibes
Okay, ponder on this notion if you will. When someone is taken, in the sense that they're in a relationship, do they emit vibes of awesomeness...for lack of a better phrase.

emitting vibes of...well i honestly can't think of the proper phrase for it...i should probably fill you in on what the hell i'm talking about
My friend Melinda and I were shopping in the mall a few days ago and this guy was totally hitting on her...i have to admit i was kinda jealous but then i took another look at the guy and i thought better of my feelings...anyway she text me and said another guy at a Subway was flirting with her. Now the catch is that she is sorta in a relationship with this guy, but nothings official. So what's with all the guys hitting on her.
It has been proven...well maybe not proven for a fact...that when a person is in a relationship that they attract people of the opposite sex better than they would if they were single.
I find this to be extremely true cuz just look at the divorce rate in the country...i know most of those couples' problems weren't just because the spark left their relationship
Back to the notion, will a person emit these attrative vibes...hey i knew i would come up with a suitable phrase..will a person emit these vibes if their technically not taken
Well i guess in the mental sense my friend is taken cuz all she can think about...and talk about is this guy.
I just thought that was just an interesting observation that i thought i would share with anyone.

My First Actual Blog
Hello everyone this is my first blog, as if the title wasn't enough. Yeah, i'm an 18 year old Native American girl getting ready to go to college. I like to listen to music and watch movies...wow this is starting to sound like one of those lame dating networks...oh yeah and i like taking romantic strolls along the beach.
I'm at a very strange and exciting time in my life. Just graduated out of high school and am getting ready to start college in less than a week. Exciting times. Yeah going to a semi-local tech school to get my basics then i'm off to the city.
Loads of new changes are coming and i can't wait to face them head on...yeah sorry about that, that was wicked cheesy.
